Responsibilities:
- Project management, namely leading strategy and business transformation projects servicing clients in the resources/energy industry, including developing business strategy, expansion plans, mergers and acquisitions
- Identifying clients’ current situations and analyzing client needs
- Assessing and managing risk throughout the project
- Determining project resource mix and overall expenditure plan
- Team management and development
- Involved in recruitment process and staff training if needed
- Business development and client Management
- Managing major proposal and business development efforts and coordinating across service lines
- Ensuring that clients are satisfied with the services given throughout the projects
Requirements: - Bachelor’s degree (min), MBA from reputable university preferred
- At least 7 years experience in Resources/Energy (Oil & Gas) industry with significant experience in strategic/market/competitive analysis, assessing complex business issues and evaluating financial performance
- Sound experience in building relationships and selling across functional areas or business units as well as identifying, selling and structuring large deals
- Recent experience with a top-tier strategy consulting organization is an advantage
- Experience leading multiple teams and working in a global organization is an advantage
- Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent leadership and management skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Desire to contribute to the growth and development of an emerging practice
- Fluent English
- Extensive travel
